I took inspiration from #foodporn and shock value imagery to produce shocking cinemagraphs for Facebook and Instagram which showed how food is prepared at restaurants with low hygiene ratings.

All elements of the production were managed by myself and the animated end slates edited to be in English and Welsh, this campaign widely targeted across different parts of the UK combining OOH and digital marketing to achieve KPIs.

Create a campaign with added shock value and clout to grasp the attention of the consumer to get across the importance of the FSA and what they do.

SOLUTION

I art directed, edited and design everything for this campaign. We worked with an established videographer to create cinemagraphs to give the imagery a beauty foodporn look and feel, only to revel through one single motion the more disturbing side of the story.

SUCCESS

The output was across OOH and social with the aim to build brand awareness, an impressive 2 Million+ total video views, over 300% increase in Instagram followers and a 60% increase in the search term of the ‘Food Standards Agency’.
